Alton Towers has been named RideRater’s Best Park for 2020.
The Staffordshire resort has faced a challenging time this year, as has the industry globally amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
But we felt that Alton Towers has navigated and innovated its way through the crisis better than anyone else.
From transforming its vast gardens into the Whispering Souls attraction this Halloween season, to successfully holding its inaugural Oktoberfest event, the park has managed to succeed in the face of many challenges.
It marks the first time the park has entered our Hall of Fame by winning the award since 2013.
The Best Park award completes a brace for Alton Towers this year, following the Garden Lights Walk attraction winning our award for Best New Addition.
