Alton Towers' Toxicator flat ride is the winner of RideRater’s Best New Addition award for 2025. The Huss Top Spin opened in March.

The Hyperia rollercoaster is the winner of RideRater's Best New Addition award for 2024. We described its drop as like "freefalling off the end of the earth".

Thorpe Park is the winner of RideRater's Best Park award for 2024. It is the first time the park has won since 2016.

Jason Bush has been named RideRater's Photographer of the Year for 2023, with his capture of the Storm Chaser rollercoaster at Paultons Park.

Chessington World of Adventures is the winner of RideRater's Best Park award for 2023. The park introduced the new World of Jumanji area in May.

Mandrill Mayhem is the winner of RideRater's Best New Addition award for 2023. The Jumanji-themed ride opened at Chessington World of Adventures in May.

RideRater's Photographer of the Year 2023 competition is now open to entrants. Get your best UK theme park photograph in before 23 December.
