Alton Towers’ Toxicator flat ride is the winner of RideRater’s Best New Addition award for 2025.
The Huss Top Spin is the first permanent thrill-based flat ride introduced to the Staffordshire theme park in 13 years.
In our four star review earlier this year, RideRater said that Toxicator “packs one hell of a punch”.
Now adorned at right angle to Ripsaw’s original position, guests can walk under the ride and watch more easily as it towers overhead.
Alton Towers seemed to be operating Toxicator on varying and/or manual cycles, so what you observe in the queue line can be quite different to what you experience on board.
The intensity of the multiple flips remains as extreme as that offered by the Top Spins of 30 years ago.
It is also one of the most highly-themed flat rides in the UK.
