Paultons Park has today opened its new £9 million dinosaur-themed Lost Kingdom area.
The project has seen the installation of two family-friendly rollercoasters from Dutch manufacturers Vekoma.
Flight of the Pterosaur is a suspended model, while Velociraptor is a junior boomerang variant, similar in design to that of the Ben 10 ride at Drayton Manor.
Paultons Park managing director Richard Mancey described the Lost Kingdom as a “truly unique experience where families can be thrown back millions of years to see, hear and feel a prehistoric world”.
The Peppa Pig World area, opened in 2011, helped the Hampshire theme park surpass one million visitors during that year’s operating season.
