Merlin to launch VIP annual pass following delay

VIP Annual PassMerlin Entertainments will launch its VIP Annual Pass next week following a delays since the product was announced earlier this year.

The £500 cards will go on sale at 6pm on 18 June, and will be available to purchase by telephone only.

Reasons for the delay in launching the product – originally scheduled for March – are not known.

Unlimited Fastrack for rides and entry to all of Merlin’s attractions across the world are among the perks offered with the product, which will be limited to 1,000 only.

The passes can be shown at ride entrances at Merlin’s four UK theme parks to allow entry to the priority queues.

Meanwhile, Merlin has still not announced when it is to bring back its pay-monthly annual pass equivalent – the Merlin Membership – after the product was withdrawn earlier this year.
