Alton Towers has reversed its decision to slash two hours from the opening times of the first week of its Halloween Scarefest event.
The park cut the closure times during 21-25 October from 9pm to 7pm last month, but the later closures have now been restored.
The initial Scarefest start date of Friday 18 October remains scrapped, with a standard theme park day featuring a 5pm closure remaining in effect.
The Halloween event will commence the following day, where for the first time the Terror of the Towers scare maze will become a paid-for attraction with the returning Sanctuary scare maze forming part of a combination package.
