Drayton Manor offers ‘Rainy Day Guarantee’ return visit

Drayton Manor has launched an offer enabling guests caught up in wet weather to return to the park for free at a later date.

In a move similar to that offered at Chessington World of Adventures, the Staffordshire theme park will issue a free return ticket to anyone who is at the park while it rains for an hour or more.

It would be valid for a return visit between 4 September and 26 October, and applies to those that booked tickets online in advance, or through the park’s hotel only.

Meanwhile, the park has closed its Excalibur boat ride attraction to make way for 2013 developments, which will reportedly also include the closure of the Pirate Adventure dark ride.
