Alton Towers’ cable car system the Skyride is not operate during peak days only, according to the TowersTimes fansite.
It is being reported that the transportation system – which has stations in he Dark Forest, Forbidden Valley and Towers Street areas of the park – will operate during weekends, bank holidays and the school holiday weekdays only.
The changes will take place from tomorrow, according to the TowersTimes article.
The move is likely to generate a considerable amount of complaints from guests, and will be widely interpreted as a money-saving measure.
Earlier this year, Alton Towers reversed a decision to close as early as 4pm on early-season off peak weekdays, following a negative backlash from potential visitors.
