The wider holdings company of Blackpool Pleasure Beach owners the Thompson family has reported pre-tax profits of £287,000.
As previously reported, the Pleasure Beach amusement park operation itself reported a £522,000 loss in the year ending 26 March 2023.
Now, the wider Blackpool Pleasure Beach (Holdings) Limited has reported similar losses in revenue but remained in profit.
The Holdings company includes the adjacent Boulevard Hotel, as well as activities in insurance, investment, entertainment production, and consultancy.
In the previous year it reported a £10.6 million pre-profit in the previous year, with the current figures representing a 97% reduction.
Compared with the year to 20 March 2022, the Pleasure Beach amusement park itself saw revenues fall by 18.1%, with the wider Holdings company reporting a 16.6% drop.
The Boulevard Hotel made £673,000 pre-tax profits, while the insurance division made £400,000 by the same measure.
Directors paid themselves a total of £687,000, with the highest paid being issued £350,000, the accounts showed.
