Drayton Manor has confirmed the addition of a new Nordic-themed area called Vikings this season.
Its major ride addition will be a Disk-O Coaster called Thor, while a Zamperla Nebulaz flat ride called Loki will be a UK-first.
The park’s existing Buffalo rollercoaster will be re-themed and operate under the name Jormungandr.
The new area will also see a Viking-themed restaurant added under the name of Walhalla, while 10 Viking-themed rooms will be added to the Drayton Manor Hotel.
Vikings opening date has not yet been confirmed, but is stated as spring. The park’s main season begins on 26 March this year.
