Team members from the fan website Coaster Bot are undertaking a charity fundraiser which will see them cycle to three theme parks in one day.
They plan to visit Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park and Legoland Windsor, riding a rollercoaster at each park as they travel between the attractions by bicycle, all in a single day.
Funds are being raised for the Merlin’s Magic Wand charity, which was founded by the three theme parks’ operators Merlin Entertainments.
It helps supports children facing challenges of serious illness, disability or adversity around the world.
‘Hoping to raise lots of money’
Coaster Bot founder Harry Davies will be joined on the trek on Saturday 6 July by collaborators Zoe and Jack.
Harry told RideRater: “We decided to do our tour purely because it seemed like a lot of fun!
“We also thought it would be a perfect time to both raise money for charity and meet some new people along the way.
“Because we enjoy having magical times at theme parks so much, we felt it was only fitting to choose Merlin’s Magic Wand as a charity – because they do just that!
“We’re all very excited about the event and hope to raise a lot of money for them,” Harry added.
