A seven-year-old boy who was injured when he fell from the Twister rollercoaster at Lightwater Valley has been discharged from hospital.
The child fell from the ride on 30 May, with his condition being described as critical after assessment at Leeds General Infirmary.
He was later described as “improving” and “breathing independently” by West Yorkshire Police.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is investigating the cause of the accident, and the Twister ride remains closed.
The boy sustained head injuries when he fell from a reported 15 feet.
The Yorkshire Evening Post quoted the HSE on Friday as saying the boy was “out of hospital and recovering at home”.
