Alton Towers Dungeon: Attraction confirmed for 2019

The Dungeons, Merlin Entertainments

Alton Towers has confirmed that it is adding a Dungeon attraction as a new addition for its 2019 season.

It is widely expected to be built inside the former Charlie and the Chocolate Factory dark ride building, but it is not known whether it will be a paid-for attraction or included in the park’s admission fee.

Alton Towers operator Merlin Entertainments operates 10 Dungeon attractions around the world. In the UK, they are located in London, York, Edinburgh, Blackpool and at Warwick Castle.

They feature actor-led shows and in most cases physical ride hardware in the form of boat and drop rides.
