Alton Towers will open between 10am and 5pm for the majority of the 2014 season, including most weekends outside the summer.
The park will close at 5pm throughout March, April and May – with the exception of 5:30pm closures on six occasions associated with school and Bank Holidays.
The latest closure during the summer months of June, July and August remains 6pm as was the case last season.
9pm closures remain during the busy Halloween and fireworks events held in October and November.
The park’s quietest period between the two events – this year falling between 3 and 6 November – are listed on the Alton Towers website as being 5pm closures.
