Blackpool Pleasure Beach made a loss of £1.5 million during the financial year to April 2013, company accounts show.
The deficit showed a near-200% fall on the previous year’s £500,000 loss and saw the company’s overall net worth fall to £7.5m.
During 2012 and early 2013, the park was quoted in the local media as blaming bad weather for reduced visitor numbers.
Recent investments including the Nickelodeon Land area and Wallace & Gromit dark ride have been made possible in part due to council loans.
The park begins its 2014 season starting with weekends commencing 8 February.
