A woman from Southend will next week attempt to break the world record for continuous dodgem driving.
Raising funds for the local Havens Hospices, 28-year-old Laura Byng will try and top the previous record of 24 hours, which was set in Austria in 2007.
She will attempt to break the record on 25/26 May using the dodgems at Adventure Island in Southend.
