Monster Trucks will arrive in Cleethorpes to perform at the Extreme Stunt Show to be held in the Pleasure Island car park later this month.
The 2,000 horsepower vehicles will be accompanied by motorbikes performing a series of stunts.
Pleasure Island director Melanie Wood told the Grimsby Telegraph: “It’s great news Extreme Events is bringing something new to the area. Hopefully, following this visit it will build Cleethorpes into its annual tour.
“I have seen a show like this before and it’s amazing. This is a great opportunity for people to see something this big in their home town. It might not happen again until next year.”
The event will be held on Saturday, 23 April at 7pm. Entry is £12 for adults.
Increasing profile
It is the latest in a series of alternative events being held at the theme park’s grounds, as Wood, who took control of the park in May last year, aims to increase the park’s exposure and general use.
Last year saw the park’s first fireworks display, with rides operating until after dark.
Gigs featuring both local and established bands are also now being regularly held at the McCormack’s Bar adjacent to the park’s entrance.
