The cost of parking at Thorpe Park has increased by £2 to £12, it has been revealed.
Increased to £10 for the start of this season, the new 20% rise follows a recent addition of £20 ‘premium parking’ at the Surrey attraction.
The car park typically sees very long queues at the end of the day, as barriers struggle to process the number of vehicles leaving.
The so-called premium option is marketed as “closer to the entrance” of the theme park, and makes for a “speedier exit at the end of the day”.
Earlier this year, Alton Towers increased its parking charge from £7 to £10. No further increase has been announced to date.
