Alton Towers admission rises to £62

Nemesis, Alton Towers

On-the-day admission to Alton Towers has increased by almost 7%, to £62 for the 2022 season.

Admission to the Staffordshire theme park previously cost £58 when booked on the day last season.

Various levels of discounts are available for all advanced bookings made at least one day before arrival.

At time of writing, pre-booked admission costs from £34 during off-peak weekdays to £46 on some weekend dates in October.

Alton Towers’ main season will begin on 19 March this year and ends on 6 November.

Operators Merlin Entertainments requires pre-booking at all of its attractions following the COVID-19 pandemic’s associated capacity restrictions being introduced in 2020.

The £62 admission charge sees Alton Towers remain as the most expensive theme park in the United Kingdom, with Legoland Windsor coming second at £58 for the 2022 season.
