Organisers of Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland event are undertaking customer research over pre-paid admission charges.
Cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organisers are currently “investigating various scenarios” to enable the event to take place this year.
A customer survey sent out on Tuesday afternoon contained screening questions over four-hour time slots, with feedback sought on admission charges of £7.50 and £10.
Rides would retain their individual charges for access. The proposed timeslots indicated in the research were 10:00-14:00, 14:00-1800 and 1800-2200.
All legal restrictions in England relating to COVID-19 could be lifted as soon as 21 June under the UK government’s ‘roadmap’ timeline for restrictions easing.
Several sporting and music events have been held where guests are tested prior to entry, or provide proof of a negative test, vaccination or having had the virus in the past.
This year’s Winter Wonderland is expected to run between its usual late November and early January calendar.
