The Surrey theme park has sent an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) to Kingston Council, ahead of a full planning application expected at a later date.
Up to 237 people could be accommodated in the new area, which would be located north of the Zufari ride.
11 of the lodges are described as ‘premium’ in nature, with 34 being labelled as ‘standard’ lodges.
The proposals also contain plans for associated facilities including a lounge bar – dubbed the Watering Hole – and a reception building.
