Alton Towers has “reconsidered” the decision to mothball the Blade flat ride, which will now continue to operate.
The 1980-built swinging attraction was scheduled to remain closed before its removal from the park later this year.
However the park today said on Twitter that it had “reconsidered” the decision and that the ride will open from the start of the season on Saturday, “until further notice”.
The ride is still expected to leave the park this year, although the departure date is not yet known.
