The Carnival of Screams scare maze has left Alton Towers’ lineup of Halloween attractions, it has been announced.
The park’s annual Scarefest event this year runs between 18 October and 2 November and will feature a new attraction called Scary Tales.
The Terror of the Towers and Sanctuary scare mazes return, and remain paid-for attractions on top of theme park admission.
The Zombies scare zone is being marketed as being free for theme park visitors, but details surrounding the new Scary Tales zone are unclear.
Marking lingo for the new attraction says: “Once upon a time there was a tortured mind, which in the darkness was left to unwind.”
Meanwhile, Alton Towers has announced that its early ride time lineup for for eligible guests will feature the Air, Nemesis, Blade, Runaway Mine Train and CBeebies Land rides during September.
