Thorpe Park is currently operating with four of its major rides closed due to maintenance work.
Flat ride Samurai has joined the long-unavailable S&S Sky Swat Slammer in being out of action.
The Stealth rollercoaster is described as “undergoing essential maintenance” on the park’s website, while Colossus is stated as being “unavailable”.
The Mondial Top Scan Samurai has been dismantled to allow work to take place, while there have been reports of maintenance activity around the supports of the Intamin rollercoaster Colossus.
A number of complaints about ride availability were made on the park’s Facebook page yesterday.
It is not clear when rides will re-open, but any downtime during the busy Fright Nights period next month is likely to significantly increase queues elsewhere in the park.
