Merlin Entertainments is offering children free admission at its attractions when schools will be closed due to strike action.
A national public sector strike is planned for Wednesday, which will force many schools to close across the country.
Great Yarmouth Sea Life Centre manager Terri Harris said: “While Sea Life remains objective and neither condones nor condemns the strike action, we have a wonderful resource for learning here that we would like to give children access to whilst their schools are closed.
“So on Wednesday 30, school children affected by the closures will be free of charge and accompanying adults only £10 each.”
The move is being echoed by all of Merlin’s midway attractions, which include the Dungeons, Madame Tussuads and the Sea Life Centres.
The move is likely to attract criticism and accusations of being a publicity stunt.
