Alton Towers’ Skyride cable car has been seen testing following two seasons of closure.
In footage posted on YouTube on Friday, the 1987-built system last ran during 2022.
Skyride has not been confirmed as opening for the 2025 season, but the park has previously said it was restoring the ride.
It tested in the early part of 2023, but did not open to the public ahead of extensive refurbishment work.
Alton Towers divisional director Bianca Sammut said in 2023 that the prolonged closure was “essential for the long-term delivery” of Skyride.
The Staffordshire estate has had cable cars since the 1960s, with an older system installed prior to the current design.
