The Treetops rollercoaster at Oakwood has been cleared of malfunction after a man was thrown from the ride in 2022.
The incident saw a man taken to hospital on 23 October 2022, with non-life-threatening injuries.
Speaking to the BBC at the time, eyewitness Harriett Lloyd said: “It looked like the last few carriages were loose and wobbling.
“He’d been thrown out [and] other passengers were holding the carriage because it had become a bit loose.”
But yesterday, WalesOnline quoted the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) as stating no fault was present to the rollercoaster.
HSE inspector Joy Gunning said: “During the technical investigation, part of the ride was taken to our laboratories in Buxton for further examination.
“However, we could not identify any fault which might have caused the incident and no further HSE action will be taken.
“Both the ride operator and the injured person have been informed of our decision.”
The Treetops ride reopened in 2023.
