Bray Sea Life Centre will permanently close on Saturday, after 25 years of operation.
The aquarium – Merlin Entertainments’ only attraction in the Irish Republic – announced its closure in October.
Merlin said it had been a “very difficult decision made only after careful consideration”.
All marine creatures are expected to be relocated to other Sea Life Centres across the world.
Merlin said: “We are proud of the positive impact Sea Life Bray has had on the thousands of children and families that have visited over the decades.
“[We showed] guests first-hand the wonders of the world’s oceans and the important role we can all play in conserving the oceans for future generations.
“We want to thank our amazing team and guests who have made this time so memorable.”
