Cadbury World will be included in the Merlin Annual Pass from 2024, it was revealed on Tuesday.
“For 2024, we are excited to confirm there will be multiple new attractions included in Merlin Annual Pass, including Cadbury World,” the pass website said.
It added that information on how to book 2024 dates would be “shared direct to pass holders” via email “after the 2023 season”.
Merlin began operating Birmingham’s chocolate-based Cadbury World in January this year.
The Merlin Annual Pass website read on Wednesday that the Sandcastle Waterpark in Blackpool would also be added to the pass in 2024.
However, that statement was later removed. The page later read that the situation would not change until “the waterpark ownership is transferred from the Blackpool Council”.
Merlin entered into an initial two-year contract with the council in September last year, which sees it run the attraction on a day-to-day basis.
A spokesperson for the Merlin Annual Pass earlier confirmed that the addition of Cadbury World from 2024 was correct.
The new children’s attraction Peter Rabbit: Explore and Play in Blackpool was added to the pass earlier this month.
