Merlin Entertainments has increased the price of most of its annual passes for the first time since their re-launch two years ago.
The Gold Pass – launched in December 2020 – has increased from £219 to £239.
Meanwhile, the unrestricted-access Platinum Pass – also launched at the same time – has remained at £299.
The off-peak Discovery Pass and intermediate Silver Pass have both increased by £10, to £99 and £169 respectively.
The Discovery Pass was launched in November 2020, which Merlin said was “off the back of” guest feedback that identified a “niche audience” that wanted a “great value, no frills pass”.
In February, it was announced that pass-holders would need to wait for included entry into the recently-obtained Cadbury World and Sandcastle Waterpark attractions.
