Adventure Island has announced that it will re-open for the first two weekends in December.
In the self-described first December whole-park opening “for a while”, the Southend amusement park will offer all wristbands at the discounted price of £10.
The opening dates are being referred to as ‘Breakout Weekends’, in a likely reference to the ending of the national lockdown restrictions today in England.
The park says that it will be complying with the UK government’s guidelines regarding COVID-19 controls.
A statement read: “Unfortunately, this year the fun was cut short at the end of the season and we didn’t get to finish it in style like we normally do! Well, we’re giving it another shot!”
The amusement park will open on 5, 6, 12 and 13 December.
