A man seriously injured in a knife attack at Thorpe Park on Saturday has been discharged from hospital.
Surrey Police have said that a 26-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, and possessing a dangerous weapon.
The 26-year-old victim sustained a slash wound to his stomach, the ambulance service said.
Guests were held inside the theme park after the incident, in which an altercation between two groups led to the knife attack on the park’s exit bridge.
Thorpe Park opened as normal the next day, but increased security searches led to lengthy queues.
