Thorpe Park closes Logger’s Leap ride during 2016

Logger's Leap

Thorpe Park has said that the Logger’s Leap flume ride will remain closed  throughout the 2016 season due to maintenance.

The water ride has been removed from the park’s website, although a tweet said that it was scheduled to be closed for the 2016 season only.

The Thorpe Park Facebook page said: “Logger’s Leap will be closed for maintenance for the 2016 season, apologies for any inconvenience caused.”

Constructed by German manufacturers Mack, the ride opened at the Surrey theme park in 1989.

It received considerable exposure in 1993 when Diana, Princess of Wales was photographed on the ride with her sons, Princes William and Henry.
