TV star Katie Hopkins is to be depicted in a Thorpe Park scare maze attraction during its Frights Nights events.
The 40-year-old Sun newspaper columnist, noted for her controversial views, is to be depicted by masked characters in the park’s Containment attraction.
A ‘limited’ run of the Hopkins masks will also be available for sale, according to Thorpe Park.
In one of her latest controversial tweets, she said it was “plain wrong” that a baby with an incompletely-formed skull was not aborted.
The decision to depict Hopkins in the attraction comes despite Merlin Entertainments’ commercial arrangements with the Sun newspaper, for whom Hopkins writes.
Admission promotions for the company’s attractions are frequently offered to Sun readers, while negative coverage of Merlin attractions is generally abstained from.
Fright Nights run for the next three Friday-Sunday weekends, before ending with a week-long stint ending on 1 November.
