Chessington World of Adventures has revealed the name and some details of its 2013 animal safari ride.
Named ‘Zufari’, with the tagline ‘Ride into Africa’, the new attraction will open in time for the start of the park’s main season in March next year.
A planning application was submitted to the local council earlier this year and revealed a safari-style ride which would feature vehicles carrying guests through animal enclosures.
The plans described the attraction as featuring giraffes, rhinoceroses and flamingos in the park’s new Africa area.
A promotional statement on the Chessington website invites guests to: “Jump aboard the ultimate off-roader truck for a thrilling safari journey where you’ll navigate through the extreme terrain of the African outback.”
