Blackpool Pleasure Beach owner Amanda Thompson has revealed that a third hotel is being planned for the attraction.
Speaking to the World Beyond podcast from Michael Mack, Thompson said a third hotel was “on the drawing board”.
“We have to find the funding to do that hotel,” she said.
“I think it will be a lovely hotel. Hopefully it will be near the white Casino building near the entrance of the park.”
Thompson also said that there were plans for apartments connected to the existing Boulevard hotel.
‘Planning problems’
She said she was having “a little bit of planning problems” with Blackpool Council around the planting of 60 trees.
It was revealed that she was trying to find the space for he trees within the amusement park to meet planning requirements.
Currently the Big Blue and Boulevard hotels are the best performing park of the wider Thompson family of companies.
The Pleasure Beach amusement park itself reported a loss of over £500,000 in its latest accounts.
The Boulevard Hotel made £673,000 pre-tax profits during the same period.
