Blackpool Pleasure Beach launches Freak Nights

Blackpool Pleasure Beach Freak Nights

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is introducing a new Halloween-themed event called ‘Journey to Hell Freak Nights’ this October.

The park describes it as a “terrifying experience-led event”. Under-13s are not permitted, while under-16s require adult supervision.

Running on selected evenings between 8 and 31 October, the walk-through experience will include nine themed areas and a selection of rides.

Admission costs between £32 and £38, with bookable slots between 19:00 and 21:30 after the main amusement park has closed.

The River Caves water ride is expected to be temporarily re-themed for Freak Nights, after a promotional image advertising ‘The Legend of the Cursed River Caves’ was released by the Pleasure Beach on Friday.

Other themed ‘scare zones’ include Blind Faith, Day of the Dead, the BIG Dark Abyss, the park said.

An earlier version of this article described how only one rollercoaster would be open for the event, but Blackpool Pleasure Beach clarified its position on 13 September.
