The new Blackpool Tower Dungeon has been opened five days early, after work on the scare attraction was completed ahead of schedule.
Its doors opened to the public for the first time today, with press and media previews being held during the last couple of days.
General manager Gary Blackadder told the Blackpool Gazette: “The actors – including the four recruited from open auditions in Blackpool – have worked so hard, as have the production and theming teams.”
Elsewhere at the tower, Merlin Entertainments are still working on the new Blackpool Tower Eye observation platform and 4D cinema which are due to open on 1 September.
