Planners of Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland have told RideRater that they are planning on running the event as originally scheduled.
The event, which features an array of travelling rides and entertainment, usually runs for about six weeks between late November and early January.
Suzi Dent, senior events manager for Royal Parks, told RideRater that organisers were working towards running the event over the same period this year.
Several travelling events have been cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including Hull Fair.
Dent said: “The health and safety of our visitors, partners and staff remains our top priority.
“As such, we are monitoring the guidance from the UK government, and are reviewing different options and potential changes needed to open safely and responsibly.
“We sincerely hope that come November, people will be able to enjoy the fun, festive atmosphere of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland.”
