Consumers who have booked theme park admission through the Super Break organisation have been advised that their vouchers cannot be accepted.
The Malvern Group, which incorporates the Super Break vacation provider, ceased trading yesterday.
Merlin Entertainments, which operates Thorpe Park, Legoland Windsor, Alton Towers and Chessington World of Adventures, said it was “unable to accept” any outstanding Super Break vouchers for “standard redemption” at its attractions.
Merlin added that it would however offer affected customers a 50% discount off the gate price as a “gesture of goodwill”.
Travel association ABTA is offering advice to customers who have booked through Super Break.
