The West Midlands Safari Park has been bought by Pleasurewood Hills owner Groupe Looping.

The French company has secured the attractions for an unspecified fee.

The park’s new director Laurent Bruloy said: “We are very pleased to welcome a great management team and staff who will be key to developing the park into an even more exciting family destination.”

He added that the acquisition would bring “new feature investments”.

The Adventure Theme Park, which reopens following the winter break on 20 February, is part of the attraction.
