An alpine rollercoaster at an unspecified location in the UK is heading towards the final stages of planning, organisers say.
Alpine Coaster UK is a project that has been set up to bring one the gravity-driven terrain rides to Britain.
Spokesman Mark Paul told this website: “The project is heading towards its final planning stages, so we are looking to confirm exact locations and opening dates in the coming month or two.”
The rides, which are also known as mountain coasters, are popular attractions in the United States.
They feature two-person bobsleigh-style cars that give passengers the ability to control their descent by applying a brake.
The project’s website suggests that the ride is to be built in an area of North Wales.
