Alton Towers Enchanted Village to open April 2015

Alton Towers Enchanted VillageAlton Towers’ new resort accommodation – the Enchanted Village – will open on 18 April 2015, it has been confirmed.

The Staffordshire theme park is currently constructing the new offering, which will feature ‘lodge’ and ‘treehouse’ accommodation.

Bookings are now being taken, with a lodge shared by four adults costing £238.50 for Saturday night on the opening weekend.

The more elaborate treehouses are not yet available to book, but are expected to cost considerably more than the lodges.

They sleep eight people in four separate bedrooms, as well as featuring 50″ televisions, outside decking areas and hot tubs.

Marketing lingo for the Enchanted Village describes it as being located at the far corner of Alton Towers.

It states: “Next to the enchanted forest lies a small village. Stay in a fantastical lodge to experience a land full of forest spirits and little fable folk that live amongst the trees.

“From dawn till dusk the little folk work to keep the lodges neat and tidy, thanks to tiny windows and doors that secretively allow access to the rooms.”
