Drayton Manor targets onesie world record

Onesie wearers brave the Apocalyspe drop tower

Drayton Manor will attempt to break the world record for the largest number of people wearing onesie outfits later this month.

On Saturday 20 April, the park is offering £5 admission to anyone who appears at the Staffordshire theme park in a red, blue or yellow onesie – or one-piece outfit.

£10 entry will be offered to anyone appearing in any other colour garment.

The current world record for the largest number of onesie wearers in a single place is 622.

The park’s manager Colin Bryan said: “This is going to be a fantastic event that everyone can take part in.”

“I would encourage everyone to come down to the park showing off their very best onesie patterns for what should be a memorable and record breaking day,” he added.
