Pleasurewood Hills is currently preparing a re-theme of the Fairytale Fantasy dark ride, under the name of Hobs Pit.
The attraction is due to open on 25 May, and is expected to feature a modified version of the existing transit system used by the former ride.
It is also widely expected to feature walk-through scare maze elements and live actors.
Earlier this month, Pleasurewood Hills began a viral marketing campaign for the project, releasing an audio clip of “strange sounds” purporting to be recordings from a shaft.
The attraction is being constructed in-house by park staff.
Tweets from the park have so far described it as being “one of the scariest rides in the UK” and “the biggest ride launch in Pleasurewood Hills history”.
