The York Dungeon yesterday reopened following £2 million worth of refurbishments.
The attraction closed in September last year when floods caused considerable damage to the the building.
It is now open daily from 10am, with tours lasting approximately 70 minutes.
The revamped Dungeon claims to be “better and bolder than ever before” and actors’ scripts feature an increased emphasis on humour.
