Pleasure Island is to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a special event running into the night this spring.
On 27 May, which will be 20 years to the day since the park first opened its doors, a day of entertainment featuring children’s characters and fireworks will take place.
After a day of standard operating hours – which will feature the Peppa Pig character – the Cleethorpes theme park will re-open its gates from 7pm for the evening evening celebrations.
Admission will be charged at the usual £18.50 for the daytime event and £15 for the evening event, which will include live music, fireworks and all of the park’s rides.
The park has not yet advised on a closing time, but it is expected to be around 10pm.
Carnival Party Night
An additional late opening will take place on 27 July, following Cleethorpes’ summer carnival parade ending its route outside the park.
Rides and entertainment will be available until approximately 9pm and the admission price will be £10 from 6pm.
Fireworks will also return over the weekend of 2/3 November, when the park will be open until 8pm.
Pleasure Island advises that guests book in advance for all late-evening events by calling 0844 504 0104.
