Back in December 2013, it was announced that Merlin Entertainments were to introduce another level to their popular annual pass. The VIP pass, at a princely sum of £500, was to include such features as unlimited fastrack and premium parking, but other than that, details were somewhat sketchy.

There have been many complaints, articles and campaigns against park staff not allowing people with certain disabilities to ride certain attractions at parks. A recent article was brought to my attention, and I would like to share my opinion on the matter.

Well the 2014 season is well and truly in full flow which now sees all UK parks open at least weekends and some everyday, so why have I only visited one park in the UK this year?

Going off the 2013 Chessington World of Adventures season, Vampire is now down to one train, the Runaway Train was out of use all season due to remodelling and Rameses Revenge was only open for a very short time before failing spectacularly.
2013 will forever be remembered as the year a roller-coaster fell apart before our very eyes. We excitedly looked on as The Smiler dismantled itself piece by piece amidst frantic claims that it is ‘definitely safe…honest it is’.
