Chessington World of Adventures has unveiled Tiger Rock, which is a reworking of the former Dragon Falls flume ride.
The former oriental-themed ride’s facade has been replaced by a tiger head structure, and is located in a newly-themed area of the park called Land of the Tiger.
Chessington is introducing a family of four endangered Amur tigers as part of the area launch. They will be homed around the ride, being visible to riders of Tiger Rock as the boats move through the ride circuit.
The Surrey theme park describes the Land of the Tiger as featuring an “innovative big cat enclosure with Europe’s first overhead trails”.
The ride and area’s official launch takes place at the park on 5 May, with previews having been held last weekend, from where the CoasterForce website shared images of Tiger Rock on Twitter.
